Of course! You miseries that don't get my goat.
Two headblenders, couple of bags of MC Hammer, 5 litres of FFF, a 48ft bastard, a box of jumped-up custard and some soggy chimps

I saw a nice looking girl driving an E30 on the back roads of Chichester the other day, didn't wave tho....was too surprised to see a girl driving one I guess!
I also see a tidy blue convertible going through Emsworth sometimes and recently tried to warn him about a speed camera he was heading towards, but I think he thought I was pointing to somethiing on his car.....
I think the whole waving at fellow enthusiasts is a good thing, its nice to come across other people who dont give a shat about the 'ECO' crowd and are just enjoying a fantastic old car.
Im going to have to sell my beloved old chromie in the very near future and im completely gutted to be honest, so I am going to wave at every E30 i see whilst I can still get away with it!
Oh and as for Fuzzy's comment about buses and E30's being polluting....I suppose driving an electric car is also better for the envoironment too eh?

Like the buses comment.. But do you join a shoes/coat/jeans forum every time you get a pair, to share views, advice, opinions etc.Cloggy Saint wrote:Never, likewise I don't wave at people if they're wearing the same shoes/coat/jeans as me.
Whether the E30 is a classic or not, there is often a respect between drivers who choose to drive older bits of metal. I'll comment or thumbs up anything that is rare or getting rarer.
Sat at some lights the other day and a very attractive girl pulled up in an early 80's 911 (I'm sure she was made a damn sight more attractive by the car!), we checked each others cars and then each other out. I'm sure she wouldn't have even turned her head if I was in a mondeo or something!

..anyone not driving a white Audi on hire purchase deserves brownie points these days I think. I saw a white semi-poverty spec Jaguar XJ the other day which looked even worse thoughsuedenim wrote:Whether the E30 is a classic or not, there is often a respect between drivers who choose to drive older bits of metal. Then again, I should've raised my game in the hope of a bit of rear engine action
