I've driven a fwd vw shitter with stretched tyres and it wasn't that bad in the dry. Lots of understeer in the wet and a tendency to lock up the wheels when braking. Thankfully they've gone and been replaced with bottletops with no stretch at all.walrus1968 wrote:must say im not a great fan of the stretched euro look...i always wonder how safe the cars are and how badly they must handle.
Ive never driven a car with the stretched tyres so i dont know..
