As per the title what do people think of these?
Do any of you have these fitted to your cars at the moment, or previously?
I'm thiking this is something that i might well do as an added deterrent to potential theives.
Snap Off Steering Wheel

Don't worry people, i have no intention of buy a cheap one off ebay, i would rather pay extra through a reputable trader for this piece of equipment. Afterall this is a rather safety critical element in the car.
I enjoy driving and the car does occasional track days, as such i want a quality item (at a reasonable price).
I have checked demon tweeks who have some and a couple of other sites and they seem to vary between £90 for a reasonable one into the £hundreds.
I know that i won't have an issue with the steering wheel as i have an after market Momo fitted, so that should work well, but want to know peoples opinions on this piece of kit. Have any of you owned one? how did the car feel to drive with it etc

Driftworks is awesome for that kind of stuff. Thought I don't think they do a ball-bearing quick-release... If they do, I'll need to look into it, unless you bought it from a guy the DW forums.winx wrote:Try to get one with ball bearings, when they wear they are self adjusting so you don't get any play in them. I think mine came from driftworks and I love it.
