the hooks are all the same, pull the spoiler off , look at the clips on the valance, you push (i think) them upwards and pull them out, its worth doing for brand new ones
another job worth doing i found... is all the plastic arch liners and bits under there, buying all new fittings for them, just a load of the nylon hex nuts and the other type under there, they are both found in random places around the car, like rear spoiler and stuff and are handy to have and go around the car replacing them all , only cost a few quid and make it nicer to work on, also a lot of themarch fittings on is`s are comming up now to really need doing it before they perish, nice afternoons spent doing stuff like that are very worthwhile and make the car that bit nicer
also new clips and screws for the front grilles are penuts to buy and nice to replace, etc etc

i'm the last owner.. check my history/profile & post's & you'll see the work i put in to this car, some of what Paul has went through is age related "wear & tear" the engine was very unfortunate.. there was nearly 3mths between me selling the car to a garage and Paul buying it (i might have a pic of the mileage from just before i sold it, would be intresting to see how many miles it covered in that time?) ive never hidden away from any questions or PM's Paul has needed to know from me and there are a few other's on here can back up as to how well i cared for this car & the outstanding quality of all the body work, floor & chassis (never had a weld) & the amazing condition of all the interior.polsta wrote:have you spoke to previous owner at all ? he had anything to say for selling you a bag of bolts

one of the biggest decisions i ever had to make with any car ive owned was parting with the E30 iS.. i still miss the car, so much so that i like to come on here and read through Paul's post's.

Paul.. do you know the mileage from the day you got your E30?
i sold the iS on the 18th Nov 2011, this pic is from 19 day's before i sold it.. my average miles per week are 12-15 so add 40-45 miles to this
