Any use?
I use the Lincoln branch for my cars. The big advantage is that they do exactly what they say,not a regular MoT garage looking for work.

You'll be surprised but most test stations don't want the work. When a test is £54.85 and usually takes no more than 40 minutes why would they want the work especially when the hourly rate is usually cheaper than a test (depending where you are located of course ). So a busy station doing up to 20 tests a day is not interested in the work the testing is where the money is. So every failure is aggro, it's more paperwork and generally more hassle. A pass is easier for everyone. It's a myth that testers want to fail cars. The stations to be wary of are the ones that offer heavily discounted tests.
