adjusting headlights
Moderator: martauto
just took my car for the mot and its failed on the headlights being too low as the electric adjuster inside the car has broke.just wondering the other ways of adjusting the height of the beam?as they are saying i may need whole new headlights as they wouldnt adjust
You can manually adjust the lights, there's a collar on the motor you can turn. Have a look in behind the cover, it's the one with the tub on it. I took mine out completely and replaced it with a ordinary adjuster, hopefully should work.

The adjusters are usually seized - you'll probably need to remove the headlight unit ( easy enough ) in order to get them lubed up and working again.
