Just a quick question, my bonnet release handle seems to have snapped off clean in my hand when trying to open the bonnet on my cab. I have tried tugging at the cable with no luck.
Is there any other way of getting the bonnet open?

Quick update, i have tried to open the bonnet with the methods suggested above with no luck,
I have twisted it as far as i dare take it, dont want to brake anything else, but bonnet is as stubborn as fu*K and wont budge. Any suggestions? WD40 maybe? am i doing something wrong? Thanks

why not just buy another bonnet release lever?
(i can send one out 1st class tomorrow, if you want one)

or give the cable a good sharp tug with a decent pair of pliers

You need someone pushing down on the front of the bonnet while you try to release the catch.
