nasty rust

i could use some help on common rust areas on the chrome bumper E30, i just bagged myself a gorgeous looking '87 320i, i need to poke about it to see if she's solid. I know the usual areas, ie wing bottoms, sill etc but is there anything underneath i should be aware of? my old tech1 sport had all the floors rot away

Scuttle corners, roof - if the sunroof drains have become blocked, battery tray, rear inner and outer wings, boot wells and around the reg lights.

Who am I kidding? The whole thing is a rust magnet.
