Hi all,
Got my E30 back from the mechanics this week. They needed to remove the bonnet, but they've not lined it back up properly when refitting it.
How to I adjust how it's aligned so I can make it square again please?
Thanks
Jamie

its an easy job as there is a bit of play in the mounting bolts, basically you loosen the bolts that hold the bonnet to the hinges and then its trial and error.
its a two/three man job so why no take it back to the garage and ask them to help you with it, should not take more than five mins

The 'shadow' of the paint on the hinge where it bolts to the bonnet should allow you to line it up exactly as it was. A competent garage would know this"
Unfortunately a garage wouldn't give a damn about bodywork usually and see it as bolt off bolt on whatever.
As mentioned above try and line the hinges up the paint marks where they're attached. It's not a hard job but can be a little tedious. If all else fails like said try the garage again or pop to a bodyshop and see if someone can spare you 5 mins.
