Yes. M50b25 is a steel blocked 24v 2.5 out of an e36/e34...

the gtr has less power and is heavier....

yes its also 25 years newer, has 4wd launch control traction controll a high tech torque adjuster modern engineering, high tech computer chips and a double clutch.
