looks like its happened to this poor guy too.im guessing this guy is a rogue trader who likes to rip people off??he also had an e36 m3 vert up for sale which has sold on ebay twice but then gets re-advertised.this is worth pointing out if it goes further and maybe get the sport guyd details as he has bought a dodgy e30 off them too?
add me to that list too, :x

If the OP gets no satisfaction from this mob, what would the Legal ramification
be for posting this on every Car Forum possible?

With the OP's consent of course.

Sorry, I was referring to your statement.

Good luck getting any dollars out of this clown though. That'll just drag on forever so you might as well lube up and get it fixed first.

Hi Paul.. i'm absolutely gutted for you.

when i dealt with Buchanan Motors the E30 was running like a swiss watch & in all the time i owned the car it never missed a beat, never a rattle or even a drop of fluid loss from the M42 lump.
i found Mark to be an honest enough bloke when i dealt with him. once i had traded the E30 to them i know they were using it and i was also getting TXT messages from mate's saying "just seen/past your old BM" & i also got in touch with him when i noticed he had put the E30 up for sale offering any help i could give ie: if any potential buyers wanted to speak to me?
i know he regrettably put the E30 up for sale as his wife was loving getting the use of the car & if he could have kept it for her he would.

i done a deal for my current i got the E39 528i sport + cash in exchange for the E30. going by the deal i got & the work they had done to the car that they were in to the car by about £2800-£3K

i really do think you have been terribly unfortunate if the chain has snapped but i do believe Mark & his brother won't ignore you & if they are in a position to help i'd like to think they would?

I wish you lot's of luck Paul with getting your E30 back on the road & hopefully with not to big a dent to your wallet. it is one E30 that does not deserve to be left lying on a driveway.

Is the 318is E36 engine the same? As there seem to be quite a few on Ebay.

Without wanting to go off the topic, I have an M42 engine here which I'm yet to advertise as I was gonna wait until my conversion was finished to clear the garage out of any morsels. Please PM if interested.

I have to say with all due respect, I wouldn't buy a car without viewing it first, whilst you still can't guarantee the cars a shed or the engine about to go pop. You would at least be able check the basics like Tyres. How can you check the Vin plate matches up? Is the Oil Dirty? etc...

You only get this by viewing first.
