was 51mm struts only fitted to 325i ???

hi there ive got a 320i with a 2.5 in it but its got 45mm front struts on it are these what came on a 320 or are they off 318 etc

its a 2 door but it started life as a 320i but got a 2.5 in it

318is/325i had 51mm as standard, most cabs. had 51mm, as most Tourings? IIRC. Your 2 door probably came with 45mm, but they're easily upgraded.

do you know if the disc and calipers etc will fit on to the 51mm legs

yer im going to uprate them to disc`s soon its getting there slowley ive got a 325i morr door as well just to many toys lol

Yes they will. When I had the front legs on mine changed to 51mm. the existing discs and callipers were in such good condition, there was no point in changing them. 2 years on and they're still perfectly fine.

i belive the only tourings not have have them were really early 318i tourings :)

As above, they will fit but you'll be missing out on the vented discs that came on the 52mm legs.

As said, tourings have the 51mm struts, vented discs, larger anti roll bars, and rear discs
if there wern't people like me,
with cars like mine,
who would you put down to make yourself feel better?
