basically I'm looking for other e30 forums to troll there for sale sections for a face lift manual window mech as ther so hard to find.....

so any help would be great

Almost all UK E30's were imported with power windows,so you have an uphill struggle,early,chrome bumper cars are perhaps the best source!

Try a PM to Z3I,he travels to Germany on a regular basis for work,and often finds interesting morsels whilst there,he may just be able to help you.

I had keep fits in my 88 320i but swapped them out for electrics, so maybe early facelifts 320i's could be worth looking.. apart from that it's asking everyone who's breaking here, ebay and wherever to see if there's one floating about.

yeh im finding it really hard, i found a pair on ebay and bloody missed out on them by a effing pound :( angery is an understatement!! :x :x :x

thanks for the info guys i'll give that guy a pm and see if he can help me out :)

but is there any other e30 fourms around that are uk based?? as there bloody bucket loads in america lol

I have a very basic spec 1988 318i, manual windows and steering.
partially striped (it became my spare parts car when the head gasket failed) - I've been thinking of scrapping it.

thanks for the heads up beemerbird but ther pre-facelift ones and wont fit my doors :( i will have to heavly mod my doors to get them to fit and im not really up for runing a mint oem door lol

i was at a facelift breaker the other day and i'm sure it had manual windows, so i will check for you Aaron as soon as i cam able to.

BTW: there are NO other E30 forums, how dare you! :evil: :evil:
