The temp repair will no doubt end up being a semi permenant repair

How long would it take to swap a tank, is it a job that can be done by a YTS ?.Steve-E30 wrote:Tbh is it not just safer in the long run to buy a second hand one and swap it ?

If you can wield a spanner then its not too bad a job. I have removed a couple of tanks. The biggest problem is getting access to the tank. I wouldn't repair a tank as its false economy in the long run.

First fill your tank half-full, get an acetylene torch, position yourself beneath your tank, wearing a shell-suit with a John Players Special hanging out your mouth...

A lovely new tank is the way to go!
