Primer/Aviator Grey e30's

It depends what you're planning to do with the car long-term. I'd imagine that most of the responses on here will be that if you're going to spend some money respraying your car the best thing to do is give it a good respray in its original colour as that'll help it hold the value. Failing that go for an original E30 colour.
If you're tracking it or keeping the car until it rots then the choice is yours. If you think it looks good, whatever colour you spray it, then it's whatever floats your boat. You're the one driving it so you should be the one who's happiest with it

I agreed
They don't make bm's like this anymore!..They should.

Was looking at a Lambo in that sort of colour at the weekend and it just pulled it off but any thing less than that sort of car and i think it will look like its just had a paint job chosen by some OAP... Only my thoughts though
but as above if you like it go for it ....

In fact the only colour for any E30 is the colour it left the factory wearing!
Only my opinion though

Do you not have trouble finding a Grey car you've parked for a while, up,t, North, doesn't it just blend in with all it's surroundings

Straight from the restoration bible,
Graphite 087
Dolphin Grey 184
Vulcan Grey 329
Never seen graphite, anyone got any pics? I do like the Vulcan grey though!
As for brown, Zobel Brown 190 (very rare, dark metallic browny grey) - Andys description!
Some awesome sounding colours listed in the book i've never seen!
