Hi fellas, it was me that took mr. E30 dk in my m52 e30
I guessed 165mph but have seen an actuall 155mph and felt like I could have gone more,
All though I ain't here to argue with all you calculators, I'm here to enjoy and show my e30
Which I've worked very hard on over the last year, it's my pride and joy and as e30 dk will tell you
I have no problem having a good skid in her..
Thanks for your comments e30 dk glad you liked her

Matthew mate, she's a beut
The marks are still there for all to see and it makes me laugh when I see the one on morrisons roundabout! 360 for the win lmao... But for someone who has obv spent a fortune on his e30, this car does show it guys, It is a lovely machine
If you open a photobucket acount, upload your pics to photobucket from your phone then all you do is make your thread and copy and paste the bottom link under the pics in photobucket to the box you write in when posting. Then they show on here as actual photo's....... Get em up mate, people will love it

sadly i dont own an e30 at present but i do have a 328i sport and have seen 140 in it and it had more to go. most of the guys on the e36 forum with alpina 527 m50 manifold with bbtb remap and dave f induction kit are all pumping out around 230 235 bhp. some have exhausts and us spec m3 cams and are seeing around 260 bhp. id imagine that in an e30 = a fast chariot indeed.personally if i still owned a sport i wouldnt molest it with such a transplant id just get a basic shell to work on but hey each to their own

M50 is an iron blocked 2.5
M52 is an ally blocked 2.8
But by putting the m50 2.5 inlet manifold on the m52 it unlocks hidden horses and opens it right up.
I was told by danthe that people think there isn't much difference between the m50 and m52 but tonight I've seen for myself its a big difference!! The m52 makes for a proper fast e30, not just that,, a proper fast car full stop
So now here's my dilema in the "more horses" category...
Right now at my scrappers, there is an E36 328i--->M52....?
and an E36 'Coupe' 325i--->M50....?
Should I nick the M52 lump minus the inlet, and strip the coupe of it's inlet mani? Any other ancil's from the M50? Which head should I keep on it?
Then, there's always the option of taking the crank out of the 328, getting me some M20 320 rods and facelift 325 pistons....
Any advice from people who have actually done swap with these engine would be great, as I've only ever owned an M10 and M20B25
