Rear 'screens are not the sort of thing that gets damaged or broken so should be readily available s/h.
Try a 'wanted' add in the correct section.

That should not be a problem for most of the zone's 'frequent fraggers' or 'approved traders'!NIX wrote:Thanks, but going to need someone to fit it too...
May be a little more difficult if you cannot travel far from North London, though!

I've got an untinted one with working heating element and the connection tabs intact- you can have it for £10 but you'd need to collect it from me ( 20 miles north of Birmingham )

Do you still have the tags in your possession? I successfully attached tags from one (unfitted) screen onto the one that was fitted to my car. Or someone may have a broken rear screen that they can prise the tags off for you . . . . . . I'll find a link to the stuff I used to do this.
If it ain't broke, fix it till it is

Hi beemerbird, that MIGHT work...Basically the connectors that attach onto the rear screen look as thought they've been snapped off - maybe the rear screen was replaced in the past and these bits not fixed back properly, not sure.
Perhaps I'll try to take a pic at some point to show what I mean.
Cheers

That's exactly what had been done to mine, hence my use of the glue. I bought a second hand screen for a tenner, heated the intact tags with a soldering iron until they floated off. Then fitted the tags to my installed screen. Far less hassle IMHO.NIX wrote: the connectors that attach onto the rear screen look as thought they've been snapped off - maybe the rear screen was replaced in the past and these bits not fixed back properly, not sure.
