this video was moments before my m20 totally gave up had a issue two days earlier car lost power and sounded a bit louder but today it just died out after revving it
sounds like you have no clue about engines
nother m20 head for the bin, please buy any french turd and sell a nice looking cab to someone who knows to look into a poorly sounding engine and not run it to show the world just how dumb you are via a video. You only have yourself to blame. I'm basing my reply on you being over 18 due to insurance costs.

Never argue with an idiot. They bring you down to their level then, beat you with experience.

relax mate i know what little about engines and this one smoked hard under accelleration my rings were gone causing this i guess revving killed it but i have another engine waiting to go in and im sure the heads ok the cars prob lost compression because of the rings/pistons and wont start now, will know whats the damage once the old engines out.
Woah
I was reading through the thread thinking "I wonder if I would be able to tell if my own car were about to blow up. Perhaps I should also buy a French turd." After watching the video, I can safely say I'd know something was up.

I find waste a stupid trait and at sime time down the line another crank, head or vital part will be required. Go and cost a new crank from BMW as I doubt you'll get much change from a bag. For the moral\ethical side of the issue I'll point you in the direction of Easter Island and its trees or lack of.
A little bit of mechanical sympathy goes along way as a motor car IS a dangerous object and a poor understanding of how it works is just an accident waiting to happen. All the infomation is freely available on the web and for any with 'learning difficulites' can use a college. My learning dificulties are not hard to spot though

Well, the car and engine certainly look clean and well-maintained from the clip, so maybe it's just bad luck, high mileage or all that stop-start London traffic that killed it?

GWB your just jealous my car looks better than yours, anyways the engine is out and and the cause was rings the piston had damaged the block causing the engine to lose compression, should have her back on the road tomorrow

i never knew they did a 324d cab
so, lets get this right, you engine makes noise like that and you rev it then in blows up ?
can i also ask why you have a crap induction kit on an auto, hand painted red 'stat housing and other bits painted red ?
the noise is a top end noise, that sounds like broken rocker , its droped a valve and fucked your bottom end

ohh my car is better than yours??
I failto understand what that has to do with a total disreguard for simple mechanics?
Have you seen any of my tourings or any other vehicle I have owned?
As Kos states its a head issue making all that noise, you are either unable to tell the truth, unable to diagnose an engine failure. You would have removed the rocker cover so should have spotted the fault within 5mins.
@marky no my friend I most certainly am not on your level as not only can I spell although I also know the correct use of the word. you sir fail on both counts. What is your take on an E30? A classic car or a cheapp turd to get you about?

Behave yourselves, before the warnings start getting handed out!
