had thought of that but id literally couple days before just got insurance through classic car insurance, an have the forms to fill out for the agreed valuation an ive to send them pictures etc aswell just have a feeling theyd think im at it you know, plus for the price of a screen from a breakers would be cheaper than anything it might increase my insurance by for making a claim
thought about gavin from autoglass but its too far gone for even him

Only difference with a cabbie is an etched circle where the mirror attaches.
You will need to source a sticky pad to re-fit the mirror.
Pull the locking strip out of the rubber seal,
Lift the rubber seal away from the glass(to break it's hold)
Push the 'screen out from inside(a pair of feet is perfect!)
Check that the glass groove on the seal is perfectly clean.
Place the new 'screen in the lower edge of the seal, check that it is central.
Ease the rubber over the glass, checking that the 'screen is central.
Check again that the 'screen is central,re-fit the locking strip.(This will only fit around the corners if the 'screen is central)
Use soft soap to help the locking strip into place.
Step back and let your loved one tell you how clever you are!

Hi mate yes any screen will fit(not M3)a breakers would be the cheapest place. Me and a mate fitted one to my car !Not a bad job we found it easer to take the complete rubber off and then fit the rubber around the replacement screen put some washing up liquid around the out side edge, also used some string to pull the screen into the frame of the car.
They don't make bm's like this anymore!..They should.
