I am looking at getting my E30 wrapped in dolphin grey. its currently black but i want to change it. I have heard that a full respray will be in the region on 2k upwards??

There is no rust whatsoever on the bodywork at the moment but there is quite a few scratches etc on the paint.

What are peoples views on getting it wrapped, good idea??

a wrap will still cost you about 1k and that will be just the outside of the car hoping that you have no rust or dents on the car

It may sound like a cheap alternative, but with your engine bay remaining the original colour, along with parts of the doors, boot etc, it will look cheap :?
If it ain't broke, fix it till it is

Very true, perhaps i should just get the paintwork detailed and mopped :S to get it looking a bit better and try and get some of the scratches out.

Agreed, a good £300 valet can look as good as a respray.
