Hi All

I have a 325i se 2 door 1988.

I would like to lower by 40 mm on the sandard dampners. Looking for a better stance and improve the handling a little.

Please could I have people views on the best springs to go for?

Thanks

Karl

Best are probably Eibach, however the likes of Jamex make quite good springs at a more affordable price.

Eibachs with E36 M Technic front bumpstops (shorter).
They are rated at either 30 or 35mm, but that was against a new car, not a 20 year old one.

ahh i need some of those bumpstops! i just fitted my new e30 bumpstops with lowered springs and found they were the same size as the damper shaft when the car was back on the ground! so at the moment my ride is dependant on the stiffness of the bumpstop foam!

I've got Eibachs for both my Beemers (not fitted to '02 yet). Worth the few extra dollars IMO
