Sorry Jon, my bad.

He could always do a bit of feng shui (!) to his million pound waterfront flat, knock the front wall out and replace with a roll up shutter door, replace the sofas with an engine crane and start a business doing 500 quid drive in-drive out 'Earl Scheibe' style engine swaps. After all, it's quite a simple swap.

Remuneration package includes a Kit Kat in the fridge if you're interested?

, i'm happy to help, but don't have anywhere to do it. have you spoken to simon13, he has offered you a place to work and tools, and probably assistance, if you do it there, i can help there too, speak to simon and i'll pm you my number to have a chat

i will say with my mate i did swap an m20 in a day on a drive in the pouring rain in - out and drive home, m 50 will be more involved as you are probably aware, and the brakes will have to be changed
if there wern't people like me,

No offence caused at all, just got me really worried that I come across as obnoxious or something. I'm really not at all, might just have worded things awkwardly as I was getting more irate with all the off-topicness

I am not local to you and couldnt be ar5ed to do one for someone else as i am sick for pulling engines out of these turds!

What i would say is its alot of work to do in a weekend!

Half a day to gut your car, Half a day to build up the engine and box your going to use including swapping fly and clutch starter etc.

Then enigne and box back in with the 5 series mounts and e36 arms then conecting your rack and gearleaver and loom. Exhaust manifolds, prop and if your changing diff?

That to me is worth alot more that £500 but people might be will to do it for that. :D
Bloody hell, everyone must be minted on here if they're sniffing at £250/day take home, that's £5,000 a month, £60k a year.
And what was it you said "wouldn't get out of bed for less than £500" ???

How does 250 a day equate to 250 take home?

Or is working for Inland Revenue yet another effing string to your bow. Or do you have to earn more than anyone else??

4 stick or 5 ?

Tempted but if it's just 4 it's not worth the fuel to drive up.
A cup of tea as well may swing it, would depend on brand. I'll go as low as Waitrose but happiest with M&S fairtrade gold.
And I will finish the dishes in a weekend no probs.

If you're going to quote me, don't just make shit up. I said nothing of the sort.

Even £250 a day non-take-home is still 60k a year.

Who said I have bow strings? Where has that comment even come from? Been Googling me or something? Sounds quite petty.

If I worked for the Inland Revenue I'd be taking far more interest in the Parts - For Sale forum than a thread like this.

And finally, I'm sure I earn less than 80% of the people on here. Not that I see what that has to do with anything.

Cheers :thumb:
