Four doors rock, good choice for gamaGamaMotorsport wrote:Felix79 wrote:A 4 door!

I have to say a 4 door makes a great sleeper, better than a misleading 316 badge

To be honest, I'd rather have an E60 M5 engine in there!

Not for 7k you wouldn't.
Very nice! What are the Gama racing wheels? Banded steels?

GAMA V8-R
The V8-R is for those who want a super fast road car that can also hold its own on the track. With a choice of V8 engines from the 286 bhp M60 to the 400 bhp S62
Kinda takes the fun out of doing it yourself if you ask me..but i know where my money would go if i had £7,000 to spare

I think its a brilliant idea and if someone thinks they can offer this kind of service at a cheaper cost for engine, gearbox, brakes, electrical, chassis set up, custom/fabricated parts, labour cost, all with proven bhp????? Then they should get the word out...Stealth e30s
But if you read the whole article Gama also mention that they will be making kits so you can do the conversion yourself.

Ah, "they all do that "
After many months of juddering erratic wipers ,I spent a Saturday afternoon recently sorting out the dodgy wiper motors in 3 of my E30s. My knuckles are skinned but my wipers work spectacularly
awsome! people just would not see it coming at all
. it would be amazing to say your e30 achieves 400bhp n/a but im still stuck on the idea of a straight 6 turbo
,, having said that having a v8 one sat next to it on the driveway would be insane

A 2 door e30 with 8 cylinders, what could be better

Thats a fair bit on money for a BMW E30.
By BMW E30 M3 standards in terms of performance this is a bargain!!
By BMW E30 325i Sport standards considering a mint one costs 4- 6k it is still a bargain provided the drivetrain, chassis, brakes, suspension components are all upgraded to cope.
Anyone who thinks otherwise is in cookkooo land. As BMW E30s though cheap to buy still cost a fair bit to put right especially if you want to do it properly. They are old cars now and lots of components start to need replacing compared to new cars. e.g. suspension etc

bit a of niche market isn't it? not many people wanting a bmw v8 in their e30 in the first place, especially for that kind of money.
suppose someone has to offer these things.

Think plenty of people would want one.
Afford one is another matter.

i would love one too but how many people that say they want one actually go ahead and do it?
also if it was a choice between an m60/62 for that kind of money or a bit more for an LS1 i think i would bide my time for the chevy.
