Hi guys,

I am looking at a set of 60mm lowering springs for my 318i.

Just a quick query, is 60mm too much?

I do not want to lose all the comfort I only want to give the car a slightly better stance as it looks as though it is on stilts at the moment.

I do realise this is a matter of opinion but any help would be much appreciated.

(Also anyone with any springs available send me a pm?)

Cheers guys.

Forgot to say it is currently on standard 14" wheels, and I will not be getting anything bigger than 15" should I change anyway.

my car is sat on 60's mate, check my avitor <<<<
on 205/40/17, i think it looks great, bit bumpy but not over the top.
this is a debate had many times on here and is obviously a matter of opinion but i think 60mm is probably the limit for lowering these.

having said that with 14/15' rims 40mm would probably be fine with 205/50's to fill the gap a little - Ant

I've got 60's on my 325 cabby and 14s, it is way, way too low. Before it goes back on the road I am going to change to less of a drop.

35 or 40mm if you still want some comfort.

60mm all round is pretty nice I just used lowering springs only cheap off eBay and the ride comfort is still nice although speedbumps are an issue!
