alot of the tech 1's that are left are complete shitters clinging onto mot's with drafty inner arches.

If you want a good one expect to pay good money, a good one is a very nice e30 though

most/all nice ones have had extensive restoration work , thers been a couple of nice ones for sale on here recently for 4k , that have been restoed and resprayed etc
