Errm I think it's to do with lowering a car (lots) without the aid of hydraulics/air ride?
I may be wrong though!

I`m sure its like any other kind of suspension drop except you cant adjust the ride height
What would define not being able to adjust the height? You can't with standard springs unless you cut/replace them

Just answered your own question.cee wrote:What would define not beign able to adjust the height? You can't with standard springs unless you cut/replace them
If you use adjustable springs, air suspension etc, then the drop isnt static

I thought that static drop was the height difference between a loaded and an unloaded vehicle? In other words, getting yourself / passengers etc into a car will make it sit lower, and give you your static drop measurement
If it ain't broke, fix it till it is
Okay this is what I thought, but it only applies to super slammed cars?TheRealStig wrote:Just answered your own question.cee wrote:What would define not beign able to adjust the height? You can't with standard springs unless you cut/replace them

Google images returns mostly trucks sitting on their arses and a a few shammed VWs...
Including this, which is classic!
