you got a good excuse in having 2 cylinders missing :D

The question is do you two improve your (drinking) times each year?
Drinking quantities yes, times maybe not so much. Being the last man standing wins here :)

Exactly, You can sit on the line for 5 seconds Making your reaction time poo but your time on the run would still be the same.

Yeah the red cab with audi alloys.
I'm going to have a look around for the another diff as that seem to be my main problem.
Had a unichip fitted and tuned afew months back and it made 249bhp and 235 of torque so its got the power to run better times just need to sort out the gearing.

Can anyone tell me what other diffs fit in the E30?

Have a look into E28 and E34 diffs (yes there are some E34 diff's that fit) My favourite diff at the mo on my 335 is my 3.07 off an E28 - first & second gears gets you to 60 very rapidly as the M30 is sooo torquey - your would be a serious weapon winkeye

3.46 of an E30 is the preffered ratio by many on the 335.

Some excellent videos and excellent times - one day I'll get my sorry ass down to the pod to have a go. What was traction like it looks all greasy on the strip.

Cheers bud, i'll look into that
What model E28 does the 3.07 diff come on??
The right lane on the strip seem the better 1. Alot of people including myself were struggling in the left lane.
I was running toyo proxy T1R's on the back of mine with about 17psi so once i got them warm and sticky it seemed to have a bit of spin then grip and go

I would have taken the E34 516g up the strip in the first free hour, my excuses; it rained and the battery died. So i let it stay at the parking for the rest of the day.

Thanks for the push, Gareth and the other two zoners, who I forgot to ask their names :o:

For the rest of the weekend, we parked the car on slight hills, so it was easy to pushstart. Except in Dover, but luckily the friendly port and ferry people helped a hand.
And the hotel on sunday evening was marvelous too!

On a downside, I think the wind at the Pod was a bit too much for me... Ill since monday afternoon

Watching 325i's going up the 1/4 is a painfull experience. I was at the bmw pod day in 2006 and i found it really boring untill a topfuel did a run.

My old skyline did a 12.5 best at the pod.

No sorry never done a built thread as been i've doing bits to it over the last few years.

I removed the head and refurbed it with new seals, Re ground and re seated the valves, ported and fitted a CAT 284 cam.
had a custom, twin 2.2 inch stainless system made for it.
Unichip fitted and live mapped.
Twin cone air filter
Homemade alloy air box with cold air feed.

Not much more i can do on it without spending big bucks!
Would like a 6 branch for it but its a joke how much these sell for
