Hi,
I've just recently bought my E30 E34 and so far can spot all these things that either need replacing or fixing.. Can anyone advise me on costs and or alternatives to either buying new (if so where from) for these items. Its a 1990 that has a straight 6 535i engine in it. If required i can put any pics up if anyone would like.
Items Cost
Air Intake Manifold --- (with air meter)
Strut
Shocks --- (the front is a little heavy)
Fog Lamp --- (1 not coming on may need replacing prob just a bulb cant tell)
Clear Indicator lights
Reverse Light Bulbs
Steering Wheel --- (has the original E30 one in it which i'm not really a fan of)
Gear Knob
Front seat Leather Repair --- (about a 20p size hole in it)
minor ReSpray --- (prob could to with just a few coats of lacker on bonnet and other little places)
Brakes --- (suggestions on good brake discs a pads with possible pricing)
Steering Rack and or Track Rod Fixing Replacing --- (Read on here that a Z3 rack would stiffin up the handling as at speed its swaying ever so slightly, a little play in the steering SUGGESTIONs?)
Wheel Balancing -- (vibration at speeds over 80MPH not sure what to do)
Air Conditioning Unit --- (Currently make a buzzing/ticking sound when switched on)
I'm a new to E30's, loved them since i was a kid but unfortunately no Tech know how.. All suggestion's and comments will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
