Have to agree here. Either they are climbing faster pricewise than people realise or chancers trying their luck.
To realise ANY true money they have to be spot b0ll0ck perfect, historied to the max and completely unmolested.
Theres another Calypso MSport for sale with Neil Macdonald at Auto.mac. It's similar money as well but has been for sale for ages. It's listed as having a perfect history as well.
http://www.automac.co.uk/product/E30%20Msport%2050
But then it will never sell all the while it's trailored to Gaydon and put under a car cover out of sight.........
Theres only one MSPORT I'd entertain at this type of money and it's a mauritious Blue J plate 1 (mature) owner car with mid 60's miles on the clock. He's had it from new, trading in a series one metal bumper nagaro mSport convertible for it. I reckon it's the most original one out there. Barry knows the car.

You mean add £2500 to buy this!....BMWE30325 wrote:http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/1472338.htm add a £1500 more and buy this
There may be room to manouvre with the one on gumtree, I mean he's giving two sets of alloys with the car (Azevs' & Toplines)... Who needs two sets?... I personally would tell him to keep both & put a set of 15"BBs's on and tell him knock the price down.....
If you seriously want a clean manual Calypso Motorsport for less than 8.5k must be worth a go.....
there should be manouver with this one too if you give him an nice £10000 in hand he would forget about the £999Low_E30 wrote:You mean add £2500 to buy this!....BMWE30325 wrote:http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/1472338.htm add a £1500 more and buy this![]()

You can do that too with the Calypso to go along with 'manouvering' with the alloysBMWE30325 wrote:there should be manouver with this one too if you give him an nice £10000 in hand he would forget about the £999Low_E30 wrote:You mean add £2500 to buy this!....BMWE30325 wrote:http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/1472338.htm add a £1500 more and buy this![]()

I bet he would rip your arm off. For 10K I would hope for something better than that sorry old hound !
Overpriced and semi councilled. And also WTF are "uprated igntion leads" Either they work or they don't and given the standard ones are fine for a standard car....da4x4turbo wrote:That cars been for sale for about 6 months... This is an old age debate and has been running on the Zone from the Old Zone days! I guess it all boils down to whether you think bubble or full leather trim and a couple of other extra bits makes a car special enough to command a massive premium! Personally i think the red and lotus are a fantastic combination, but i would not pay that kind of money for one! I have owned a couple of Motorsport's but for me mintness was not an issue as they were going to be murdered anyway
A man could ask for what he thinks his car is worth and if it sells then great, but if not then he will know he's asking for too much and either reduce it or keep the car. Lastly if i was selling that car i would take the Azev's off as they are associated with the "INIT BRUV" crowd and the kind of man who could afford to pay that kind of money for one would be put off straight away! Just imagine that car decked and sitting on some nice BBS RS's with fat dishes
