I have gone through the entire photo gallery and my thread has disappeared or should I say been deleted????????? Has anyone else had threads been deleted or altered?????
Also my thread "Where in the world are our members from?" has been changed????????
An explanation would be helpful!!!

Hi Lizzie, I had a post deleted a few months ago.
It was inreply to a fellow zoners tech question regarding a knackered 325i head, I noticed that a valve seat was missing and mentioned that this was the probable cause of his engine going 'POP'.
When I looked at the thread the next day my post had disappeared and the zoner in question stated 'Im pretty sure Ive spotted the problem' 'you can see that the entire valve seat on the second one is gone! You can also see a spot of weld on the port. The seat must have come off and got smashed up by the piston into the head
Since then I'm loathed to give advice

i put my details up very early on in that thread and it dissapeared twice so i did it a 3rd time and its still there so far

I've had posts "go missing" too! It's not even like I post anything offensive, I'm always careful what I say if there's any way something can be misconstrued.
I asked for an explanation for one deleted post and after a week the mod involved "owned-up" and gave some feeble excuse, something along the lines of "I'm a mod and my decision is final!"!
