Hi everybody, need some advice please!!
Unfortunately due to financial problems I have got to sell my much loved Beema. I will post an advert up in the for sale section of the zone before I put it on pistonheads and the like.
Only trouble is, I have no idea how much its worth......

Its a 325i sterling silver Touring with a 24valve M50 conversion. The conversion was carried out by myself and I believe it to be of a good standard. The donor car was a 136,000 mile e34 5 series 325i sport and I used the gearbox and LSD from it in the conversion. It also has Virtually new front brakes from Kerri at WMS (4pots), new water pump and stat, all new brake lines in braided hose, whole rear end rebushed with new bushes from BMW, M3 eccentric bushes, new handbrake cables, two new tyres on the back that have done 1 trackday, fronts need replacing, e36 rack with new rod ends, full stainless exhaust(very fruity), electric fan, Cobra GRP bucket seat, no interior, spare set of BBS wheels with track tyres on (one trackday left), strut brace, 12 month mot, injectors cleaned, e30zone chip, rolling roaded the other month 210bhp with print out.

General condition is good....... body work is functional and wont win show and shine but it has not got any rust on it apart from a hole in the rear valance 50p size. Surface scratches are plentiful
but in my eyes insignificant.

very grateful for any ideas price wise????

How's the shell for rot ? Has a significant impact on value IMO.

I'd say closer to the £2k given the engine conversion and brakes.

I would have said more than 2K?

I mean you think what you get there..... Its complete aswell
How do you pronounce 'either'? I say 'either', but some say 'either'. Either is correct.

m50's dont seem to demand as much as m52 conversions

if it was me i would put the interior back to standard, might appeal to more buyers :)

Appeal is limited by virtue of a stripped interior,do you still have the bits?

No i got rid of all the interior unfortunately. It wouldn't be too hard to put back though.

Humm,I would suggest a carefully constructed advert,in the correct part of the zone  ,with good, clear and detailed photos to underline the rot free nature of the shell, and the ease that this could be converted back to a road car.

Your problem is that this is an enthusiast's car,and half of the fun is in the building,so you are looking for an enthusiast who does not like spanners!

I gave £150 for my rotfree touring shell,it was powerline gutted, but a complete, good condition interior, with the steery wheel on the left and French plates attached....

Sounds like I have a plan then! Good advert in the for sale section with a reference to magpies interior which will open it up to people as a project! Bob on! :D

Both young Alex and I can demonstrate how to carry an additional E30 interior in a 2 door with an existing interior. Piece of pith. On that basis, I would suggest any van would be sufficient.
