Hi huys,

I am currently doing work on a friends 325 Touring. He has decided he wants it lower -40mm. The shocks on the car are in great condition, so im just after a set of reasonably priced springs.

What can people recommend? He is not fussed about handling etc, as he is 'older' and doesnt give the car a hard time, so no need for H&R or the equivalents etc etc. He just wants them for aesthetics, and at a sensible price.

Any help will be great, thanks.

I bought a touring with 40mm jammex springs on a few years ago. I had always thought they were cheap and nasty but it actually drove very well.

Not too harsh or crashy. It was sharper than my saloon I had straight after, before i changed it's original springs and shocks to spax which were sh1t.

Use -40mm KW's on mine, been on for 4 years i think, done numerous tip and diy runs that put its arse on the floor and they have not sagged, still sitting nicely
