Well, after 5ԚÂa years, it looks like the end of the road for my E30 and me. My mate has fallen very hard times and is doing me a deal I absolutely cannot refuse Ԛ—a the Hogweedmobile & Ԛ£3000 for his M reg M3, simple as that (he's desperate).

So two days of E30 stewardship leftԚ… been nice knowing you all!

ErmԚ… one of the reasons his is cheap is that the leather isnÔš't in brilliant nick Ԛ—a the surface colour (kind of a pale grey) seems to be worn down to a darker underneath colour. IÔš've already factored the cost of a complete new set into the cost, but.. I donÔš't suppose thereÔš's any way of restoring it, given that the colour seems to be actually worn away?

Thanks allԚ…

Yeah... but I'm getting it for nothing, and none of the tight-arses on here was going to buy the best E30 in Britain off me for a few quid, whereas he's very happy to have it as a cheaper car, so...

It was either that, or I spend a small fortune on doing all the 2.7/Schrick/trick suspension etc business on the 325, which would have cost me even more - I've spent a fortune on the E30 over the years, and it's a case of diminishing returns, as it would appear a 4-door 325 isn't actually WORTH anything to anybody!

Different for those with immaculate Sports, E30 M3's obviously.

See you out there somewhere Simon... heh heh heh...

For your leather probs have a chat to Nik Greene. I had some leather replaced in my TVR and he matched the colour to the original. He works on all sorts of leather and did a really good jom on my parents leather sofa.

What, you mean it'll "re-stain" the durface? That WOULD be handy...

I've emailed him - I can get a set of 2nd-hand seats for maybe Ԛ£600, but if he could make it pristine for a lot less... :D :D :D
