Sorry to see that mate.
It sounds to me that your alarm hasn't been fitted correctly. IIRC on a Saxo my mate had he had this feature and it wouldn't start off the remote if it was in gear, and i used to know someone who had worked for a company that fitted them had he said he could do a bodge with the wiring on my Concept 100 so it'd telestart but if he did it it would do what yours just did.
I'd be on the phone to the company that fitted that alarm before you do anything.

The only reason i ask is cause the guy whos fence it is just happens 2 be some anal copper whos already been bangin on the door hassling my mum about the fence, I kindly told him 2 go, now not being the time! What a t**t!!

Alarm is faulty mate, try to get hold of Clifford to see why it happened.
You have to tell the alarm when you get out the car that you are gonna remote start it when you get back to it, by leaving it in neutral, and pressing a combo of buttons closing the door, with the engine still running, close the door, arm the alarm, and it turns off the engine automatically. If you return to the car in the meantime it won't remote start because in theory you could put it in gear.
This shouldn't have happened.
I would be gutted mate, sorry about what happened.

Definately, especially if it's only just fitted.
Assuming it wasn't through a mate or whatever, then get them round to see what went wrong mate, that's well out of order.

My mate fitted it! He is an alarm fitter, but did it on the cheap 4 me! I not even spose 2 be using the remote start as it hasnt been set up yet! I just pressed the wrong button on the fob!! And the reason it was in gear is cause i had the centre console off and it require u 2 put it in gear 2 do so!! Its just unfortunate......looks like i will be paying 4 the damages myself, also with this anal copper wanting me 2 pay 4 the fence through my insurance!
Grief i didnt need....

For a proper decent job, budget around a thousand.
Depends if you know someone in the spraying trade.
Surely the whole car doesn't need doing?!

i looked at the first pic and thought yes looks nice, after looking at the next i had to go back to make sure it was the same car, look at it this way it could have been a lot worse with a car, person, or child in front of it, Tell the copper to get off his high horse and you will sort it out

When you're chatting to your alarm fitter mate, could you ask him if he has that wiring diagram for my Concept 50
Really sorry to see that happened though. Not funny at all

If it makes you feel any better,in my first 325 i reversed out of my parking spot where i used lo live, the passenger which i hadn't shut properly flew open and jammed itself against next doors brick wall knocking it down!
Geezer was cool though, and rebuilt it a few days later,no charge or anything,he was just pleased i didnt do a runner which a number of people in the past had.
