Hello,

I'm in the market for a strut brace in the next few weeks, however there seems to be a massive price difference on the ones available!

I want them as I put them on my mk1 golf GTI and it made a massive difference, am guessing it does the same to an e30? They were OMP ones, and about £30 from Demon Tweeks...

So... Why do the front uppers range from About £40 to over £158.95?!

Also, what do I look for? (It's for a road car)....

Thanks.

We use a sparco M3 one around £50 on the front and the rear one is welded in as part of the roll cage on the race car.

The RPM front one is very similar to the sparco one.

Thanks for the info!

The sparco one is £89 on Demon Tweeks now! I will look into the RPM one...

Are they all aluminium? Is there a lower front one? Does the rear one make much difference?

I think the difference the rear one makes depends on the car, if you have folding rear seats or a touring then I imagine it makes much more different than a 2 door with a solid rear bulkhead like ours.

We've only got one because it's included as part of the cage...
