I've got mine done, but only because the rear pop outs i purchased off another zoner came with the front windows and rear glass which had already been tinted.
I do like them though and they keep the sun off the leather so it dont get so hot in the summer.
Also makes the car more secure as potential scummers cant see whats inside and the glass takes longer to smash though

I would recommend around a 20% film on the rear 3 (allows 20% of light through) - so this would be classed as a dark smoke. On the rear doors i would recommend a 35% tint, and then keep your fronts the standard factory green tint, or if you want to try your luck with the law, go for a 70% tint on top of your factory tint which will take it about 10% over the legal requirements. Tinting your car in this way doesn't totally cut the back off from the front, but fades it front to back instead.
Hope this helps,
Chris

this is a 20% tint on my sport...is this council??
Yes, but compared to the two tone wrongness, positively tasteful !

All facelift UK spec cars come with a tasteful green tint as standard. In fairness to most of the owners of 'tinted turds' , I understand why they have done it , I wouldn't want to be seen in them either !
well, everyone has their own opinion i suppose
Yes they do. It's as above on here a 50/50 split.toptints wrote:well, everyone has their own opinion i suppose

Just because you make money tinting turds does not make it tasteful or anything other than council. But congratulations on taking money off sad peasants !toptints wrote:yes yes, d'ya get me dan... brrrrutt brrrrutt. each to their own.
Mate, do you hear us saying your cars look crap un-tinted ? NO. as it was said, everyone has their own tastes and opinions. Most of my customers have their cars tinted for sun protection for their kids, or to keep the things they are carrying in the back out of sight, so it's not always because some guy is having a mid life crisis and is trying to look cool
My personal taste is an extremely light tint to cut the heat and save the cars interior from UV. I'm sort of with you about the dislike of dark tints on a car, but some people just need it for varying reasons. So all the talk of tinted turds is a little un-fair i think.

It would be a bit daft to say something like thattoptints wrote:Mate, do you hear us saying your cars look crap un-tinted ? NO.
The main reason bruvs tint E30's is because they think it looks cool, which it doesnt
I tinted the back windows on my E34 to keep the heat/sun out, not because I want it to look good, infact I think it looks shite, but I dont care about the car, its just a workhorse. If I wanted to do it tastefully id get some rear blinds
