Have caughed up and bought a new front panel direct from BMW but when I've offered it up to my pride and joy (Mtech2 325i) Have found it to be missing what seems like five holes which would take the clips that would hold the top of the mtech plastic front apron onto the front panel. These holes are on the bent original part I have. BMW insist I have the right part which, other than my missing holes, is identical in every way to my original part. Am concernd about drilling these holes myself, and dont see why I should have to either.

Part no I'm taling about is 41 33 1961 227

BMW have offred me my money back but that still leaves me without the correct part I need!

Any thoughts? -do I actually need to secure the top of the plastic front apron, all other fitments are there so mabe it will be just fine?

You have got the right panel. It does need to be drilled. BMW actually supply a drilling template, if you're worried about getting the clip holes in the right place.

..... And I'd have thought that the top is more in need of being secure than the bottom.
