I'm still quite new to E30s, with prices that seem to vary from £500 to £5000. This one just at little anomalous

Baurs are not everybody's cup of tea and tend to be cheaper than the cabby. If you go to http://www.unixnerd.demon.co.uk/bmw.html and have a read you will get a better idea of which car will suit you. Generaly a 1.8 in a cabby will be under powered if you want to drive quickly, but if you just want to cruise about then perfect.

I'd get a 2.5 cabby if I was to get a folding roof as it has the nicest sound and will be well able to streach its legs when needed!!

That car you have put the link up for looks like it is in really good condition and someone has spent a few pound on it in its life. Re trimmed, body kit and a set of MIMs 1900

My comments on that car - I dont like the interior, 1.8 not enought grunt and the baurs don't do it for me I wouldn't pay that for it.

I noticed this car myself. The miles are a bit high for my liking, but I was going to ask the zone if that interior is original? I'm guessing it isn't, so 'complete red leather interior which has no nasty rips or tears' probably just means re-trimmed. Bad retrims look great....for a while!

If he swears blind it's original (and it isn't), it's not a good sign. If it is a trim job and you can find out where it was done and check their rep out, it might help put your mind at rest about whether it's actually a good job. :)

If it was me, I'd replace it with a set of decent condition leather without the weird colour scheme anyway. Otherwise, it looks nice. I do have a soft spot for Baurs though. :D

Funny enough it was the interior taht drew me to it, it just looks so flawless. Not attractive, though and the more I look at it, it looks like a not particularly nice retrim

i think its pretty reasonable although bare in mind what could be behind that body kit

i dont think its badly priced, but i'am wierd because i like baurs

serve the interior for £100 to some council sort and find a nice set of cloth sports seats and it would look great

As said before baurs aren't for everyone but at that price it'd be for me!!! That interior is very nice but still needs a good look over for tin worm.
