Hello,
I have my touring in bits ATM swapping out the rear beam. I have the old beam off however the metal part of the bushes are still attached to the car.. Any tips for removing them?
Also the diff is now disconected at the center and I don't know exaclty how it lined up, is this a problem?
Cheers
Rear subframe advice please

dont u bern of the iner pese of ruber with a blow torch
Insert a bar through the remaining metal part, then keep hitting it north, east, south and west, try using some WD40 at the same time, eventually it will come out but they can be real tight, take it easy or you will snap it, this is where the real fun starts and basically it will need drilling and hacking out.
The best way of getting the rear wishbone bushes is to burn them out, get them going with the blowtorch and then just leave them to burn and tap them out with an hammer.

just put a screwdriver in or an extension bar from the bottom and wiggle them, make sure the bolt that goes in from under the rear seats has been pushed back inside the car first.
Worst case they may snap off leaving some metal in which you will have to chisel out
