I have an M30'd auto cabrio, and I think it is distinctly lacking in top end power. I'd like to get it on a dyno to see what it is doing through the rev range, torque and air/fuel.
I've never had a car on a dyno (plenty of bikes though), so I am a little wary of the experience, particularly as the car is an auto.
I am very close to Castle Combe, so I am thinking about using Circuit Motors. Anyone used them, and would recommend them to a nervous car-dyno virgin?
Martin.
Dyno facilities - Circuit Motors, Castle Combe. Recommended?

Yes Paul is a legend, you will only recieve the best service from him. Polite, knowledgable, enthusiastic and very good with e30s.
This is said without bias, seeing as I have my own rolling road to promote here in Salisbury!
Can you force it to hold 3rd or 4th gear? They are a bastard for kicking down!

Thanks everyone, great to hear good recommendations.
Just called them, and Paul is enjoying a holiday until mid next week, so shall call again and get it booked in.
@Jon_BMW, I believe I can force it to stick in 3rd as it has a winter mode on the box. Certainly won't go lower than third, but may change into top at the redline - never tried to be honest.

Lots of bikes, the odd modern BMW, and now an 88 e30 335i Cab project with E32 running gear
