There was me thinking(I know, that's a novelty in it's self)that the purpose of a bra was to lift and separate...

I don't actually have a problem with a car bra, I nearly bought one for my MKII Golf.

That was in about 1994 though

I think they would probably look better on a black E30 than any other colour?

I can understand the reason most people here slate them cause they drive £500 shit@rs winkeye If you drove a car with a say £5k paint job you wont be so quick to slate them. I'm having one made at the moment which covers the whole bonnet and the front of the car inclusing the bumper. I'd rather look GAY and protect my car than another expensive respray!

in regards to the full face covers, are they the kinda thing that you'd whip off at a show? Otherwise they'd just be protecting something that you would never see

I'm still gonna get one if i can find the one's i like, despite the haters. If everybody did the same things to their cars, it'd be pretty boring modifying cars atall!

It's purely to drive to shows and back or on long journeys, but you take them off when you get to your destination.

For normal factory painted cars, it's not such an issue as the paint is hard wearing, but for a car like mine with Kandy it's critical because it chips and scratched so easily. I had to have the car resprayed last year cause the guy who did the engine even though he put a cloth on the wings to protect still managed to scratch them and i'm still eating beans on toast to pay for it so riding round with a bonnet bra is a minor lol

Ben, why not get one which covers the whole car ? you will eliminate the risk of stone chips/scratches with the added bonus of protecting the general public from being exposed to a large dose of bad taste :)

Contrary to what I have said before, even I would risk being seen in your car if it was completely covered by a big black bag ! :D

Just doing burnouts there Pete, he was behind at the finish line.

The porker had an interesting history, originally bought by an owner of a french porno mag, he was called Lui, hence the reg, my mate was serving it up for 4 bags and I think got it, bit of bodywork needed at the rear

Anyway as punishment for your rudness i'm going to have you kidnapped and forced to sit in my car then i'm going to film it and put it on Youtube so everyone can see you

This is so nuts it's beyond funny. You spend all that money making your car look nice :snigger: only to cover up the paintjob and make it look totally gash.

What's wrong with clear protective film.

It does come off :P

I wouldn't wanna go sticking sticky stuff all over my nice new ££££'s paintjob. I'd much rather have a nice soft leather cover that can come off in seconds at a show.

When i'm hurtling down the Mway people looking at my paint job is the last thing on my mind. Protecting my paint is the 1st. I already have 1 tiny chip in my front bumper and it's maginfied cause of the base colour of the car. I'm not taking anymore chances and i'd rather look GAY

Why spend £££££££ on a paintjob if you're too scared to drive down the motorway afterwards for fear of chipping it?
bootyman wrote:I've got a lovely car but I'm not going to drive it, I just want to look at it and dress it up in womens clothes :gay:
A girls bra stretched over your bonnet isn't going to protect much of the car anyway is it, so stop pretending thats why you want one and admit its because secretly you want to wear girls bra's yourself 8O
