How can i go about smoking my front lamps aswell as rear lights?! Cheers Tarun

i smoked my rear lights today had a spare 5mins and a rattle can of that tint stuff looks pretty good as ive not gone silly with it.im thinking of trying it on the front but couldnt be bothered to take the lights out today might have a go at the weekend heres a pic of back ones

One of mates did his 320i ones! he just removed the glass from the front sprayed the surround!..Looked the dogs b*****ks! 8)

Once you have the glass off, its just as easy to do them properly...

glueing it back on is the easy part. its removing it in the first place is the tricky part!

personly dont like the smoked lights, think it takes away that instantly recognisable old school twin headlight beamer look

don't you think it gives them a look reminiscent of the Charger/GTO if you de chrome the grill and smoke the lights??

i finaly got round to tinting my headlights today i didnt remove them in the end i just removed the grill and masked off
im happy with the results maybe a bit dark im not sure

did you just spray the outside of the lights???

That's not the way to do it as you're reducing the light output.

The correct way is to tint the lights from inside so you retain the lights full capabilities. There's a guide on here for those who want to do it themselves, alternatively have a look at my for sale advert using the link in my signature for a set that's already done (and done well).

yeah i know its not done the best way but the tint is about the same as a set of genuine hella smoked quad headlights ive got kicking about so my theory was if hella can do it so can i

oops upon closer inspection of said hella lights it would appear that hella actually tint them in the same way you guys have not the rough half arsed way i have :D

lamin-x them i just done mine today looks good and its quite thick so it act like a protectant film too. im impressed with the stuff, im going to do my fogs later in the week.
