I just got a call from my neighbour to say that someone has stolen the wheels off my car. It has been parked off for about a month or so due to the battery running down. I think i will sell it now as it is always going to be a "source" for parts. Thieving B***tards[/b]

I hate how no-one can have anything nice now coz you always get some thieving chav scum have it away!

Is it worth posting up pics or a description incase they come up for sale anywhere? Never know you might get em back with a bit of luck!

Sorry to hear this has happened dude.

Did your neighbour not see anything? I would say report it to the police but everyone knows inless you are being murdered at the time of the call, they won't do much!

No, he was at work today and only noticed when he came home this afternoon. We live away from the road with no off street parking. I will ask other neighbours if they saw anything when i get home from work

Keep an eye out on Ebay and your local bargain pages for any that come up for sale and go and have a look - you might find them and then inform plod - not that they'll be able to do very much

Good advice. I think some information on here will help as well. Get some photos up and the location ish and folk on here will look out for you.

Sorry about the bad news but don't sell the car because of this. Get wheels on it and take it for a drive and you'll want to keep it.

you are lucky that's all they took if they were blatant enough to take the time to remove all four wheels.
i take it it's parked off the beaten track?

or was it parked as it is in your avatar pic?

Just got home and the wife said they were missing when she walked passed the car at 8am this morning but they were there when I drove past at 07:25am. @Tedswagon I don't want to sell the car but it I won't be able to prevent it from happening again. @Goldysingh thanks for the offer Mate but there is no telling whether it will happen again or not. @ magpie it was parked in almost the exact same position as my avatar except 2 wheels were on the road and 2 on the pavement. I suspect it was more than one person that did this in the time frame

There is a guy I know who had his wheels nicked off of his 04 plate 645i... car is still on bricks a week later!?

Get yourself another decent set of BBS (£150-£200) and some good locking wheel nuts and just be glad that they didn't nick the entire car. The say criminals always return to the scene of the crime, but I can't see this lot coming back again for another set.

Also lucky they didn't take the tech 2 kit. The wheels are there if you need them, I'll driving up to uxbridge on the weekend if that's any closer to you.

Highly unlikely! they were stolen for another car.
Your so called gypo's wouldn't be fagged with unbolting wheels having to jack up a car and remove them and put it on blocks aswell.. then they would have to get the tyres removed etc.. it'll be some e30 owning scummer or some scummer who was after the tyres

just seems unbelievable that this happened at 7.20 am in a residential street where most people are getting up opening curtains, going to work etc.

just had a call from the police, apparently it has happened to two other beemers in borehamwood recently. @magpie, it would be easier to get a few pics up and a description then put it in the for sale section rather than fabricate a story. i don't appreciate the inferrence that i am lying
