I have a tech 2 wheel that needs recovering. Anybody any recommendation of who can do a good (not too expensive!) job in the UK?

This has been covered (no pun intended) before....I was in the same place and with there being very few people able to do it and not at the price you'd expect I elected for a new one from Cotwolds.

Ive used these before and they can pretty much do everything.....don't know where you are though mate as it just says 'UK' in your location.

someone once said about going to the people who make saddles for horses as they are more used to the type of work so are cheaper

I would expect that the covering part of steery wheel manufacture is the most expensive part.
May be worth trying one of the aftermarket wheel makers,just in case they are interested.
There's one based,I think,at Castle Coombe circuit.
Youth is wasted on the young.
