A M10 4dr on bottletops with a passenger inner arch "Patched up to stop water getting in"? I can hear people queuing around the block for that one!
Unfortunately your car doesn't really have a lot going for it. It being a 4dr and requiring welding I cannot see it being the number one choice for an engine conversion. Nor do I realistically see an enthusiast paying top dollar for it as it is for a restoration seeing how they aren't the most sort after e30s ever produced.
Look in the For sale section and you'll see there are some bargains to be had. With a fully loaded 325i Touring went for £800 I personally think you'd struggle to even see £500.
