Whats the worst comment you've heard about your E30?

The thread is what are the worst comments you've had about your car - Im sure you've had some derogatory remarks on this forum even if they are 'tongue in cheek' - none of them impressed you as particularly witty?

They are not as interesting as what non-E30 heads think.

To disrespect a standard car is pointless as it's just a standard car - if you don't like standard you don't like E30s. It's when you mod too much that you attract criticism.

Anyway, I like the width and breadth of comments from the young / old public at large. Some get the magic, others don't see it at all.

I used to get that a lot too, and when i sold it nobody would believe that I bought an e46 M3 with the money and had some change!

Same old shite here too. "But it's J reg. Its old. It's not got much space in the back" etc etc etc. I care not. The good comments far outweigh the bad ones..

never realy had any, my ex nextdoor neighbour said that he always thought they were a bit of a girls car. but then he was a tool

the worst has to be a guy who commented it was "a bit of a beast" (i had just stopped in a car park after taking the entry "flat", to follow it up with "no way is it 20 years old, golf isnt it?"

My best mates saw my car this evening. Asked if I was a drug dealer..

My first 318i more door was an ex-dealers car, found out when I was forced to stop by three cop cars and one puzzled old copper, he didn't expect me to get out! Got sorted and the min I got home I stripped it just in case there was anything to find

only lairy comments of my dad and brother when the roof is down they give it how much to hire that skip got some hardcore or when you going to get a line painted round it saying level load comical ha put it down to jealousness and the fact there aint much to appreciate about a clio sorry dad u lose

I've never had a negative comment about mine just good ones, the most common thing i hear is "thats in good nick for its age" or "i've always wanted one of them its my fave shape of BMW"

snap, very similar story, i always get... "like your wheels mate" at traffic lights too
