no one is anti drift on here, i think what gets people going are 2p losers who think driving a shed sideways is cool. Drifiting is great but someone bragging about their £25 turd and how cheaply they can bodge it isn't. Drifting old turds is fine in my book but going on about how cheap/tight you are all the time is just annoying. Much like people who have money who go on about their money all the time

if all you have is a £25 turd to drift then so be it.
i dont see the problem with brewer having a project thread on his budget drifter tbh.
if someone slags him off for it hes bound to defend himself.........

What's the deal with the word lifestyle? Who said it often enough to make you believe its some sort of drifters mantra?
Fwiw I dont know one drifter, tramp or posh, who would think welding springs together is a good idea.

Funny you should say that, i came across a thread on Driftworks forums were they were talking about setting up a car for drifting with no money, it was weld the diff, cut the springs and get bald tyres,
I know welding the spring isnt good but it was only a bit of fun.. you know the word... Fun.. come on.

what a good show from the old girl
so money may not count as much as fun.
or the cheaper it is--the more fun you have.
the owner of the black e30 sure had good skills though.
i might search you tube for a vid of it.

The car was a £1500 winner. It might of looked like a £100 but with all the safety gear, the 3.5 conversion, suspension etc it certainly cost a bit more.
Still goes to show that skills and a small budget can win against big budget stuff.
