I think it was last week whilst driving towards Emsworth in my ol' chromie 325i I got a nod and wave from a fellow E30 driver, it was a nice tidy dark coloured cabrio from what i can remember, it sort of took me by surprise and i was too slow to wave back! lol

Anyone else had recognition from another E30 driver?

im about around emsworth way in my 318is,diamond black

i saw that cabrio,(if the same one) parked outside the tesco express the week before i bought mine, i was having a little look at it, bit tatty round the edges n bit of rust etc

saw a red e30 the other day comming past me the other way on the havant road, also saw a dark blue chromie in beach road area, think its a 316, saw it the other day parked up outside a house where they used to have/might still have but not seen it about, an e30 m3 ....me and my mate always used to walk past and admire it, "one day il have one of them" i used to say

when i showed my mate my 318is, 1st thing he said was "thats the business, old school....just like that m3 that used to be up my road" , wonder if they still have it

I blast through Havant everyday and sometimes give a lift to a mate back to Emsworth, but in a touring

It was ole big ears in his H27 that you might have seen.

Fair enough, i just didn't think that e30's were at the stage where owners show recognition to each other.....i thought that was reserved for vdub campers etc!
