A freind of mine collected one of these on a night out once, he didn't remember anything about it! lol

When i went round his place it was standing in the middle of his lounge frame and all, we ended up turning it into a coffee/beer table in the end.....

A guy I know with a rally 205, used a big road sign as fuel tank guards, when he had been having a bit of a play down the lanes, a copper pulled him over, as he had an odd glow under the car, turns out the sign was reflecting the glowing brake discs onto the road :D

And people thought neon lights were cool! :D

I like the idea of a coffee table sign!

I think the "Roadmarking in progress" sign for the sump guard would be very fitting for a drift-tramp kinda car

Depends whats behind the road sign could have some sort of brace in place besides if you look at a OEM E30 sump guard the metal aint much thicker than a road sign its strengh comes from the metal bar that looks like a ARB

You have clearly never seen a proper sump guard

They are never at work town, they are either sitting in a van reading a paper or propping up a shovel while drinking from a thermos :)

Yeah, a proper rally style sump guard is a fair old bit of metal, ours is 6mm duraluminium (can't ever spell that) with a T45 tube holding it to the chassis, I think its probably stronger than the 205 chassis rails it mounts too :D
