.E30 new scrappage sceam

I now truly hate the new scrapage sceam. I went to my local bmw dealer and there was two e30's a coupe and a touring both with under 45'000 miles on the clock going to be scraped i was so pissed .

Even with that mileage they could be complate dogs so if your going to try and save one pick the one with the least rust!
Also there will be no way to verify the mileage if you can't get all the paperwork for the car.
Still a shame they are going to meet an end most likely. What garage did they get traded in at?

You can't touch them guys, they belong to the govenment now, and can only be scrapped. It's gutting as I found out there was also two in at Eastern at Edinburgh, a convertable and a moredoor I think, one even had cruse control, but I couldn't touch them!!

Depends who you know, as long as it can roll to the scrapyard you can have anything you want bar the engine i should imagine. Loads of people are breaking cars on the scheme, if the dealers have the logbook i bet they sell them on
im always doen my local scrapy and they say IF a car comes in from the scrapage scheme you can take absolutly EVERYTHING bar the chassis/shell as that got the numbers on it to comply with the log book and the gov can see its been scraped !!
sooo get bloody saving those parts !! get your angle grinders out and save the good rear courters front valances and enignes and box's and diffs n struts the bloody lot lol its doesnt need to roll move steer what ever it just need to have part of the chassis left with the chassis number on it!
a truimph stag was down my local with an abslotuly mint body and this chap could take it becasuse the number wernt on the body so the log book wont corrspond to the shell. so he took it off with in minutes haha
GET SAVING PEOPLE......i missed out on a full red leather interoir and im still beating myself up about it now was weeks ago grrrrrrrrr
